oh..and callie and hobbes too. i had the pleasure of taking their pics a few weeks ago, and LOVED how they turned out! ive been wanting to take some pictures on the train tracks, and they were the perfect guinea pigs! here are a couple other favorites.

i've been spending a lot of time in galveston lately, because of a fantastic man named ryan. not only do i love hanging out with him, there are new places to take pictures of! i've lived in the houston area for the majority of my life, so i've spent some days on the island. but, it's different with someone who lives there. when i go, i trek right to my spot on the beach, usually stop at the wendy's to change and get a big diet coke, and then head back home. ryan knows lots of cool places, and in getting to those cool places, we pass other cool places. like, this...

this is eaton memorial chapel. you cant read it very well, but the last pic is of a 'storm survivor' emblem. this church stood up during the storm of 1900, and ike. pretty amazing. i love things that have been around for a long time. makes me not freak out as much about the small stuff. 26 years is nothing compared to 100+.

i had the pleasure of taking my friends christmas pics! they may look familiar to you, as they have been featured in a few of my posts:). they are a precious family!

one of my FAVORITE things to eat at my grandparents house is this. fried okra. i dont know WHY it tastes so good here, but it just does. my sister and i always tease my grandad about eating it all, and usually manage to sit by it whenever we gather for a meal. it looked so good, i of COURSE had to take a picture. 

mmm...okra. hope your thanksgiving was filled with good things! 

these pictures just make my heart sing...or melt...or do something. i dont know what it is...the green grass, the sweet eyes, the timidness...just love them!

i had the opportunity to take pictures of a friend from high school and her beautiful family this weekend. i loved seeing her again and meeting her PRECIOUS kiddos, her brother, and her parents. here are some of my faves:

i love taking pictures of nature. usually at my grandparents house, since i live in a concrete jungle. im currently working on editing some pictures that i'll post later...so for now, enjoy these!

in honor of my grandad's birthday, im devoting this post to him! i absolutely love both of my grandparents. they are such an example of selflessness, and of a love that lasts. i cannot imagine my childhood without their house, comanche county milkshakes, games of wahoo! and of course the Aggie Warhymn.

its kind of amazing how many pictures i have like the one to the left. he is a funny man, and always makes me laugh!

i obviously cant take credit for the last two pics, as i am in them! but the first one is one of mine from our family reunion this year!

reese turns 5!

i have a lot of fun kiddos in my life. along with vivian turning 5, my friend reese ALSO turned 5. its crazy.

she had her party at a gym and invited her friends. i loved hanging out with them and capturing some sweet moments for them! i am truly a blessed girl to have so many dear friends that are like family. alright, now for the cuteness:

vivian is five! that's a whole hand!

 so, as promised...pics of ms vivian's fifth birthday party! she had it at the zoo...and if you know me at all, you know that i love a good zoo day. i went early with my friend jenny and snapped some pics of some cool animals...like these:

but, of course the real event was the party! it was a sweet time of celebrating with sweet friends, and their sweet friends...great day!

im so very excited for my spoede friends as Vivian continues to grow and Mr. Zane finds his place in this precious family.

so, about a month ago i posted some pics of my dear friends the spoedes, as they were preparing for a new family member. and, he's here! meet zane prescott-morgan. born 10/10/10!

he is of course precious. and handsome.

and less than 24 hours old! 

 

i cannot wait to get to know this little man! also...vivian (zane's big sister) is 5 today! soon to come, pics of her birthday party!

i have the cutest dog in the WORLD. this is a true statement. she's kind of a mess, and likes to raise my blood pressure by digging under fences, but i still love her.

i got her from the shelter and will always remember the day we found each other. she was in kennel number 5, and was super excited and jumping up as i walked past. the shelter had a room to get to know the potential adopted animal. she smelled around for a minute, and then sat in my lap. she didnt move until i decided i would take her! we went to petco to get a kennel and some other things, which freaked her out. once i got her home and clean, she jumped in my bed and we've been best friends since.

sweet Spoedes!

i had the blessing of taking pictures of my dear friends the Spoedes a couple of weeks ago. they are expecting their second kiddo, (a boy!) in October. i've known them for most of my life, and can truly say we are family. i really enjoyed capturing these sweet moments. thank you friends!
